The Seaward LLT Live Line Tester 114A922 is a voltage detector designed to ensure safety when working on third-rail electrified railway lines and systems. The Seaward LLT two-pole voltage indicator allows service engineers and maintenance personnel to verify that conductor rails have been isolated from the power supply before maintenance or inspection work is carried out on rail track systems. The LLT is ideal for safe live line testing on electrified rail systems above a threshold of 300V up to a maximum of 1100V DC and it is completely cased in a high impact, shock-resistant enclosure with PVC hand guards and high visibility cable. With ultra-bright red LEDs and a polarising filter built into the handle this Seaward voltage tester makes voltage indication clearly visible even in direct sunlight. The Seaward high voltage indicator ensures conductor rails have been isolated from the power supply and has been designed in compliance with EN61243-3 and has an IP65 weatherproof rating.
The Seaward PH3-LLT proving unit 112A925 is an ideal accompaniment to proof test the live line tester before and after use whilst the optional Seaward LLT Live Line Tester Carry Bag helps protect this safety tester from damage
The live line tester 114A922 and proving unit are approved by Network Rail Certificate of Acceptance No. PA05/03345. A manufacturer’s calibration certificate is included as standard.
